Carolina Rojas was born in Maracaibo (Venezuela) in 1967.
In her hands bronze turns into wonderful figures of delicate lines. Her passion for life is transformed into her work with delicacy and exquisite taste.
Her art is rich in textures, transmitting fascinating warmth, all in an atmosphere of elegance and mysticism which has become the trademark of her work.
Carolina studied drawing and painting with Eva Castell in Caracas (Venezuela) from 1976 to 1980. In 1981 she took guided lessons with renowned painter Alvarez de Lugo in the same city. From 1985 to 1988 obtained a Industrial Design degree at IUAJS.
In the years 1989 to 1990 she worked as an assistant to the well-known Venezuelan sculptor Rafael Barrios. In 1991 she studied Sculpture in the Workshops Arts and Fire in Caracas, Venezuela. A year later it was with another distinguished sculptor Elias Toro that she expanded her knowledge of the bronze.
Her artwork is part of many private collections in Venezuela, Mexico and the U.S.A.
